What a great day out! Picked up at 2.30 and an hours drive to the desert, arriving back to the hotel at 9.30pm. You are dropped at a camp initially where you can either just sit, or as an extra hire a quad / buggy to go out into the desert. This was great! After that, we went Dune bashing in the Jeep and our driver for the day - Ali, was good fun! Ali gave us internet access through his phone if we needed it, and played music on the SUV entertainment which was fun! My wife was a bit hesitant but after we got started she loved it! Ali can go as slow/fast as we wanted and were comfortable with - there were some "interesting" turns on sand dunes giving a great experience of driving in the sand. Our grandson loved the sandboarding, and generally diving about in the sand. Ali took some videos and photos that were great! When we got back, we were dusted down as you get sand on you whatever you do. Then we were driven to a camp for camel rides, dinner and a show. This was a great day out, great value for money!
