It is a small but very informative museum and if you wish to go inside, you should arrive an hour earlier to experience it. The entry fee is only AED 3 per person. Your guide is looking forward to meeting you at 5 pm in front of the Main Entrance of Dubai Museum (Al Fahidi Fort).
Textile Souk, Dubai, United Arab Emirates First we walk through the Indian market. India is the most important trading partner of the region. Long before oil, the pearls found on the sandbanks in the Persian Gulf were the most important source of income of the region and there was a high demand for those pearls in India. So already centuries ago, pearls were exported to India and many goods were imported from India, such as textiles, building materials, food and spices. Since then Indian cuisine has a strong influence in what people eat in Dubai. On our way through Souq Al Khabeer, today the textile market, we will have our first Indian snack and there is time to explore the shops if you wish.

This tour was fantastic. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, and the small size of the tour made it feel very personal. The food was all delicious, and we really enjoyed our trip. If you want to see something more of Dubai than the malls and skyscrapers, check this tour out. It felt much more authentic than anything else we did on our trip.
We always double-check the availability with our local partners for each booking. Even though this is usually a swift process, it can take up to 24 hours.
