The border crossings are time consuming and frustrating---four stamps (leave UAE, enter Oman, leave Oman, enter UAE), and at the pace and whim of border efficiency or lack thereof. The ride to the UAE exit is over 2 hours long. Prepare for a long ride home too. The Oman setting is extraordinary once you are there---take advantage of each opportunity offered on the water (kayak, snorkel, speed boat, banana boat).

Very cool in all aspects, respect to the organizers. Transfer, bus, boat, speedboat: everything was classy and cool!!!
