This was my 3rd time doing a Hot Air balloon ride with a 3rd company in Dubai. My first was ok, with a company from a brochure that I found, offering a cushioning of sand for the landing, with a couple of bumps before a complete stop. My 2nd was with a different company, offering a bumpy, painful landing without no sand for a cushion. But, they say 3rd time is a charm. This Sun Rise Balloon company was PERFECT! PILOR PASINDU provided the usual information regarding how the operation of the balloon work with the fire, etc. He assured the passengers that because the weather was so perfect and wind was mild, chances are we will have a smooth landing. And he was correct. Our landing was so SMOOTH, we touched down and stayed still. No bouncing, bumping, Nothing! Definitely a great outcome without any pain or injury incurred.

The pickup was timely, the driver extremely polite, at the site we were welcomed with coffee or tea, the process of climbing in and out of the balloon ok, the flight awesome. We could see the desert, some farms with animals up-close, date palms. Tariq was very skillful as a captain, the landing with a few bumps, but nothing disturbing.

we booked Royal Smart Hot air balloon tour. they picked up very early and we were at sight before sunrise. whole tour was very wonderful. we did breakfast and took memorable pictures. it was great experience.
