Having had some photos taken, I purchased a photo from the counter. I was given a QR code which I was told to use later. When I got home, I found the QR code was invalid. Having contacted the photo service (DEI Global) who took the photos at the observation deck, they said I only paid for the printed version. I then offered to pay for the digital version, but they said I had to return back to site in person to do so. Obviously I cannot simply fly over 3,000 miles just to pay for a digital version. The salesperson at the venue did not say anythig about paying for the digital photo, but instead telling me to use the QR code for the digital copy.
There was problems at the shop counter as well, when the person serving me did not process my tax free claim. When I asked, she said I did not meet the minimum amount required even though I did. I had to show her an official website which indicated the tax-free eligibility.
