We absolutely loved this trip - my husband says it was the highlight of our entire stay in Ireland, particularly Newgrange, but I loved Knowth and we learned so much.... Mia Craig, our guide, was so incredibly knowledgeable. She differentiated between stories, speculation, and known facts. We could have listened to her all afternoon. We actually booked a slightly different trip than this one - that did not go to Trim, but we went there on our own, so I can definitely say these sights are well worth seeing. The Mary Gibbons tour we booked guaranteed entry to Newgrange, and that was phenomenal. If you have never touched 5000 year-old megalithic architecture, wondered at the culture and ideas that led to the creation of ancient places, marveled at how they were built when they are right before your eyes, or walked the ramparts of a castle and looked out across the countryside for miles, then these experiences will be awesomely memorable.

I was honored to be able to take a Sacred Irish Tours day trip with my family in August. It was truly a spiritual awakening experience as my mother, grandmother, and I (three generations of women) toured the sacred sites of Ireland. We are American and had come to Ireland to reconnect with out Irish heritage. The entire trip was life changing, however the tour with Sacred Irish Tours was truly profound. Over a month later, I am still inspired by my experience. Liam had wonderful recommendations for books to read more about the topics and I have been enjoying his recommendations. I can not recommend Sacred Irish Tours more!
