What a great way to spend a leisurely morning in Dublin. Our guide, the lovely Brid, gently led us from one great food spot to another keeping us entertained all the way with her local knowledge of history and food - she clearly loves her city, knows it well and is proud to show it off. At each stop we enjoyed delicious morsels and a couple of snifters too - Dublin's finest. Our hosts at each stop were welcoming and so enthusiastic about their cuisine/produce - it's not an exaggeration to say we could taste every word they said. Divine! FabFoodTrails is doing a great job of promoting high-quality, independent, artisanal food and drink retailers who only deal with locally-sourced produce. That's a good thing and I'm all for it!
Bonus: We were four in a group of 12, so we met other like-minded foodies from around the globe which was also a lot of fun.

Our guide was fabulous with lots of information about the families running the establishments we visited and the foods themselves. She was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fun. The small, family-run businesses each gave us delicious food to taste while telling us how it was produced and how their businesses got going. And, the tour was a great introduction to some of the fun areas of the city centre
