This is a fun take on a regular tour/tasting. Sean was our guide and he was a hoot. The highlight here is definitely the cocktail making, from tasting the whiskey to hearing about the different flavors that go into a good cocktail. We picked our flavors and were soon shaking our tails off. Sean came around and judged all of our drinks. Then we enjoyed another drink in the very nice bar. For the experience, I think this is a bargain.

The sun was shining. Spirits were high (pun intended). We did the cocktail masterclass with Julia. Julia was a great tour guide. She brought the history of the business to life and told us all about the distillation process and the historical significance of the brand. The cocktail/flavours masterlcass was excellent. Julia showed us how to taste the whiskey and brought us through the key flavour elements so that we could pick the best cocktail recipe to bring out the best of the spirit. Overall this is the best distillery experience in the city. We got got to see the process up close and Julia gave us an excellent run down of how whiskey is made. Highly recommend this tour experience over others in the city. The quality of the tour, information provided, level of care is second to none and all done in a unique setting and a chilled out atmosphere. Where else can you enjoy a Roe&Co and a Guinness and look out the window to see where both drinks are made?!! Top marks
