    Minčeta Fortress dominates the highest north-western part of the City. It is a large circular tower with a massive battlement suspended by stone sup-porters. The first, smaller, quadrangular tower was constructed by Nikifor Ranjina in 1319.

Absolutely fantastic! Wish we’d done this on our first day because we learnt alot! The guide was great (sorry can’t remember her name 6/6at10am) definitely recommend and go early in your stay It was also really good having someone with personal anecdotes
