    When we start our tour from Dubrovnik we will drive around 50 minutes until we reach our first stop and that will be town Herceg Novi(Cyrillic: Херцег Нови, pronounced [xěrtseɡ nôʋiː]) is a coastal town in Montenegro located at the Western entrance to the Bay of Kotor and at the foot of Mount Orjen. It is the administrative center of the Herceg Novi Municipality with around 33,000 inhabitants. Herceg Novi was known as Castelnuovo ("New castle" in Italian) between 1482 and 1797, when it was part of the Ottoman Empire and the Albania Veneta of the Republic of Venice. It was a Catholic bishopric and remains a Latin titular see as Novi. Herceg Novi has had a turbulent past, despite being one of the youngest settlements on the Adriatic. A history of varied occupations has created a blend of diverse and picturesque architectural style in the city. You will have laizy walk around town have time for cake, caffe, ice cream.

It traces its origins to the ancient settlement of Rhizon, the oldest settlement in the Bay of Kotor. We will stop here to see famous Roman mosaics in Risan. Enter fee to see mosaics is 5€ per person

    From Risan to Perast is around 5 minutes drive. Risan (Montenegrin: Пераст) is an old town in the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro. It is situated a few kilometres northwest of Kotor and is noted for its proximity to the islets of St. George and Our Lady of the Rocks. Perast is the largest monument of Boka Kotorska (Montenegro), it is all on stone and completely stone. It has many palaces, churches and stone houses. In the 14th century there was a shipyard. The first maritime school operated in Perast. In Perast guest will have 1 hour free time to explore town and if they want they can take a boat ride to islet Our Lady Of The Rock, price for boat is 10€

We were having a lovely time at Milni when we met Andrea who convinced us to go on a tour visiting Montenegro. I’m so glad we listened to her. We were picked up promptly at our hotel by minibus, & drove to Border control. It took less than 10 minutes to get through. The scenery we passed through & the knowledge of Ivo the driver made this trip well worth it. He spoke fluent English. We had time for lunch & other interesting stops so it wasn’t all driving. Well recommended.

The tour guide we had for the day was so helpful, full of knowledge and very funny. Great price for an absolutely amazing day. Can’t recommend enough .

After reviewing decided to book for a day out, booked Montenegro day tour with Ivo, picked us up from our hotel 7:30 Ivo has a fantastic knowledge of the area and was very informative explaining the history of buildings an places we passed starting with the history of our Hotel, the Hilton Imperial hotel, a beautiful hotel close to the walled city. Our day was well organised, and very well delivered, transport was comfortable and Ivo provided a relaxing journey, would highly recommend using Dubrovnik smile. Good rates and communication.
