Your personal Tour Guide will fill you in on all you can learn about the history of the pass and the surrounding area. Feast your eyes on the natural landscape that is dotted with many species of wildflowers, creating splashes of vibrant colour. Roof of Africa did a wonderful job organizing our day trip through the Sani Pass from Durban. Both of our drivers were friendly and very knowledgeable, so I would highly recommend this company.
I did think the tour was quite intense for a day activity: it's a lot of time to spend in a car. Staying in Underberg might be better in that sense, although this has its own downsides (e.g. making your itinerary longer).
