This tour offers our customers exclusively a private guide authorized to offer private tours inside the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. peter's Basilica. Our tours are private, reserved only for the group whose names appear on your reservation. We do not combine group. Furthermore, the tour is fully customizable. You can ask your private guide to vary your itinerary according to your preferences. Our private tour includes the Pio-Clementino, the Galleries, the Pigna Courtyard on the route inside the Museums before reaching the Sistine Chapel and finally the Basilica. The skip-the-line tickets for the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica are not included. You can purchase your tickets on the Vatican website. If the tickets are sold out you can ask our office to look for your tickets in the resale market (Eur 50,00 per person). You can request our office a private one-way transfer from your hotel on Rome to the Vatican Museums.

  • Sistine Chapel, Vatican City, Italy
    The Sistine Chapel takes its name from Pope Sixtus IV della Rovere (pontiff from 1471 to 1484) who had the old Cappella Magna restored between 1477 and 1480. The 15th century decoration of the walls includes: the false drapes, the Stories of Moses, the Stories of Christ and the portraits of the Popes. It was executed by a team of painters made up initially of Pietro Perugino, Sandro Botticelli, Domenico Ghirlandaio and Cosimo Rosselli. On the Ceiling Pier Matteo d'Amelia painted a starry sky. The work on the frescoes began in 1481 and was concluded in 1482. This is also the date of the following works in marble: the screen, the choir stalls (where the choristers took their places), and the pontifical coat of arms over the entrance door.

The group was top notch. The drivers were safe and courteous and the guide was second to none. They picked us up at the port and had us back on time. I would strongly recommend LIMOUSINE SERVICE IN ITALY.

Kurz nachdem ich die Tour gebucht habe, wurde ich persönlich kontaktiert und habe alle nötigen Informationen erhalten. Zudem konnte ich durch die App oder per Email Fragen stellen und diese wurden mir schnell beantwortet. Der Tag zuvor der Tour wurde mir per Email mitgeteilt wann der Pickup sein wird. Pick up war sehr unkompliziert und schnell, wie bequem. Angekommen wurde uns vom Fahrer genau mitgeteilt was wir zutun haben und wo wir hingehen müssen. Breakfast war sehr lecker. Es gabs Omelett, bacon, Würstchen und Salami und Käse für uns. Croissant und Kaffee wie Saft zur Auswahl. Top essen genau im Pinienhof im Vatikan. Die Tour wurde von Alessandra geleitet, sie war sehr nett, hatte uns super gut durch den Vatikan geführt, hatte ein sehr ausgezeichnetes Wissen über den Vatikan. Wir haben zur zweit die Tour sehr genossen, es war eine tolle Erfahrung und kann die Tour wirklich jeden weiterempfehlen. Dies ist nicht gesponsert, nur meine eigene Meinung.
