This is ideal tour for those who have less time in Salalah and explore more. This 8 - 10 hours tour will take you to a magical journey to both the Eastern & the Western sides of Salalah, combining the best of East and West in a day trip. Thus you can discover the most popular tourist destinations in Salalah within a day. Following will be covered on the East side of Salalah. The most popular valley of the Dhofar Region, Wadi Darbat will be your first stop. Here you will be seeing the seasonal waterfall, a spring where you can do boating (kayaking, paddle boat, motor boat) overlooking the mountain of Jabal Qara series. Sumharam Archeological site is a place where you can see the remains of an old city and a small museum is on site. Also Taqa beach and taqa castle is covered in this trip. One the western side of Salalah, Mughsail Beach is the most visited place on along with Marneef cave and natural blowhole / geyser to explore. And the city tour to Haffa, Souq, Fruit huts.

  • Taqah Castle, Salalah, Oman
    Taqa Castle is one of Dhofar’s most distinguished landmarks, which was built in the 19th century. Its walls were constructed from solid blocks of ‘Taqa Stone’, a local limestone material composed chiefly of fossilized shells and corals. You can see the well, roofless jail, formal sitting area also known as majlis, bedrooms, kitchen and stores. In these areas you will see traditional weaponry, jewelry, every day household items and fascinating traditional colorful pieces of clothes.

    This is a beautiful beach along with the coconut trees and farms. Take a fresh coconut and sip its milk from the fruit huts located there. The famous Haffa Souq (Al Husn Souk) is also there. This places are shown along with the drive to the city highways as well.

Throughout the journey, we traveled in a comfortable and well-maintained land cruiser . Our driver Abo Salim was skilled and friendly, making the journeys between destinations enjoyable. Knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. Abosalim was exceptional. His passion for New Oman culture, history, and nature was evident in every explanation and story he shared. Abo salim's enthusiasm made the tour even more enjoyable, and he always went the extra mile to ensure everyone had a memorable experience. The tour covered all the must-visit spots, including Ittin mountains, Frankincense trees Eftalqout beach view point, Mughsail beach, Marneef cave and blowholes, Masood Hidden beach view point, ayn waterfall,The itinerary was well-paced, providing ample time at each location for photos and exploration. Thank you Mr. Abosalim... I would highly recommend this group tour to anyone looking for an immersive and captivating travel experience.

The tour was good considering we had only one full day in Salalah - though I can say now, too expensive for at the end what it offers (440usd for 2 pax). Highlight of the tour was our guide Mohamed, the nicest person and very knowledgeable. We could not hope for anyone better than him!
