The ancient caldera is filled with a grey-greyish volcanic ashen Sea of Sand and remarkable green savanna. About 40,000 years ago Bromo rose as one of the three new cones in the landscape.     Die Tour war großartig. User Fahrer Didik umsorgte uns von früh bis spät. Er war immer gut gelaunt, erzählte uns viel über das Land und zeigte uns auch interessante Dinge, die nicht auf der Tourliste stehen. Die Tour selbst war top organisiert. Natürlich ist man nicht der Einzige, der in der früh am Vulkan steht und wolkenloser Himmel ist natürlich schöner, als Bewölkung. Wir haben so viele tolle Eindrücke und Erlebnisse mitgenommen, dass uns zuhause viele beneiden bzw. auch nach Indonesien reisen wollen. Michael & B.

    Abbiamo prenotato questo tour tramite il nostro ostello, tour organizzato bene, posti bellissimi, la guida, di nome Rico, molto competente e simpatico, ci ha accompagnati sul vulcano Ijen, è molto disponibile nel fare foto! Il driver di nome Dodo è stato eccellente e molto competente, ci ha accompagnato da Malang fino alla fine del tour, al porto! Molto disponibile, ci ha spiegato e fatto vedere un sacco di cose, ci ha portato a mangiare sempre in ottimi posti! Non posso che consigliarlo! Unica nota negativa è stato l’’ostello vicino al monte Ijen: in stanza faceva freddo, in camera non c’era nulla dove poter appoggiare la roba, abbiamo dovuto chiedere gli asciugamani perché la camera ne era sprovvista, mancava pure il sapone e la carta igienica, scarseggiava di pulizia!
