We can pick you up from Surabaya Juanda International Airport or any hotel in the Surabaya City or Surabaya Train Station at around 11:30pm. For example, if you book the tour for 15th March, then you will be picked up at 11:30pm on 15th March, and you will see Mount Bromo Sunrise on 16th March in the morning.

    Start your exciting expedition with a convenient pick up from the Airport / Hotel / Train Station in Surabaya by our professional local driver and tour guide at 11.30 pm. Then travel to Mount Bromo Area (*Estimated Travel Time : 3-4 hours)
  • Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, Indonesia
    Transfer to a thrilling ride on a 4WD jeep to Mount Penanjakan where you will witness the perfect sunrise view. After the sun ascends the sky, you will head over to Hill of Love by 4WD jeep for a photo opportunity.
  • Luhur Poten Temple, Indonesia
    Cross Sea of Sand (Horse ride is available, rental fees are excluded). You will be able to see Luhur Poten Temple, which is a Hindu temple located at Sea of Sand. This temple is the center of religious activities of the majority Tengger tribe who are Hindu. Then climb 250 stairs to reach the rim of Bromo Crater. Return back to your jeep at around 8 - 9 am.

Did a private tour and my guide, Ivan, has been very helpful and attentive in attending to our needs and queries. It's raining season now and some of the sights might not be visible. He will inform us in advance to manage our expectations and offer alternatives. Hence, despite some activities are not according to our plans, we still enjoyed the entire tour. Ivan has been a careful driver and we were able to sleep along the journey and assured that he will send us safely to the next destination.

Went to Mt Bromo with Mount Bromo Tours in December. They checked us in at Bromo Terrace which is a wonderful and peaceful hillside resort. Their staff is also very hospitable. Viewed Mount Bromo at sunrise which was quite a spectacular side but be prepared to jostle with the crowd. A face mask is a must given the dusty conditions but unfortunately the guide did not give adequate advice on this.

Sunrise at Mt Bromo 1. Ask hotel to pack complimentary breakfast box. 2. Hot water flask to enjoy steaming coffee while watching the peeking sun rising above horizon 3. Winter jacket + fleece shirt for 5-10 degrees.Layering to remove when you climb the Mt Bromo crater later 4. Gloves 5. Track shoes 6. Long pants 7. Toilet charge is IDR4,000 Climb Mt Bromo crater 1. M95 mask - the hooves from the horses stir up the volcanic ash when they walk pass you in the Sea of Sand. 2.T-shirt n shorts 3. Track shoes - fine pebbles will get into the shoes when u walk across the sea of sand 5. Treking stick for balancing as you climb the steps to reach the crater as the railings are damaged at certain sections and the steps are covered with sand and you may slide at times. 6. Toilet charge is IDR3,000. 7. Water to drink as sand can enter the mouth. 8. Wet wipes to clean up after the climb. 9. Laundry service to wash and dry 24h for winter jackets, fleece coat. 1 kg IDR25,000 at laundry service kiloam. 10.4WD in jeep to Mt Bromo is bumpy n jeep is low. Your head may hit the roof if u nap.
