Maui helicopter rides are perfect because around 75% of Maui is inaccessible on the ground due to the extreme terrain and rainforests.

  • Weight Restrictions: Due to FAA regulations, all passengers must be weighed at check-in. For each single passenger weighing 240 pounds or more, combined weights of 420 lbs per couple, or for groups of 3 or more an average weight of 200lbs or more additional seat must be purchased at time of booking. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers. It is important to provide accurate body weight at checkout.
  • It is recommended that all passengers wear dark clothing to help have less reflection in the windows when flying and therefore you can get better photos during your tour
  • All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. Under representation of body weight may result in cancellation at check-in with no refund.
  • Flight routes & sights may vary due to weather.
  • Infants under 24 months must sit on an adult lap. PLEASE CONTACT AIR MAUI IF BRINGING AN INFANT. Over 24 months must occupy their own paid seat. We follow the same FAA regulations as the airlines.
  • Please contact Air Maui directly for your check in and departure time at least 72 hours prior to your flight!
  • Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter
  • Helicopter is a shared cabin of 6 passengers and one pilot on each tour.
  • No bags allowed on board. This includes purses, fanny packs, backpacks, etc.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Waterfall locations to swim were awesome, seeing the turtles was great. Very on top of schedule to make sure we returned to our cruise on time.

Friendly, professional service and the pilot made everything interesting and fun. We had people who were terrified but still had an amazing time. I would definitely recommend this trip!

Air Maui and Cameron, our pilot were fabulous! Flying high up over Haleakala was an amazing experience. When we got to look over the rim of the crater we saw cinder pots and what looked to me like an otherworldly vista. It was absolutely amazing. Cameron, our pilot had a terrific music track to match the awesomeness of what we were seeing and experiencing. Hovering in the valley of the waterfalls was amazing! I will never forget this awesome tour! Don't miss this, you will love it! Oh, the rainforest side of Hanna was also beautiful!
