Akari was an excellent host. She was in touch after making the booking and worked with me to tailor the experience to what I was looking for, in this case local sushi and the seasonal delicacy Crab. She managed to get a booking at a sort out place with little notice. Would highly recommend.

Met Jorge in the hotel lobby. Kanazawa has great food and we started with sushi at a restaurant in the train station. In fact, we could have spent the evening there since the sashimi was so good but we then moved to dining on grilled meats at a Korean barbecue. Finally ended up at a restaurant that serves tempura skewers. Jorge was very entertaining and gave us a good perspective of an expatriate working in Japan. Nice tour for a survey of Kanazawa cuisine.
