With all the statues of men in Edinburgh, you may be wondering who are the amazing women who made this city? This wonderful walking tour gives you an array of stories of the daring women in Edinburgh’s history in splendid locations. You will have plenty of opportunities to provide comments and questions on the fantastic topic of daring women. It will inspire you and make you feel proud to be a woman or girl. Thank you to everyone who has already enjoyed this tour. We run: - a 1.5 hour regular tour at 2pm on Saturdays - a 1.5 hour exciting night tour at 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays - a 3 hour private tour at 10am - available Monday to Fridays and Sundays - you can arrange a 1.5 hour private tour. Please contact us. The purpose of our tours and events is to inspire women and girls to understand their strengths so they may pioneer change in their communities. What an interesting and engaging tour. Anabele is a lovely tour guide - informed, interesting and warm. Really appreciate learning new things about Edinburgh and the role women have played. Consider taking this tour to learn a different perspective of a fascinating city.

It was a fascinating tour as I had never considered or questioned the fact that all the statues in the city were of men! Annabel led us to find those hidden plaques of distinctive women in Edinburgh's past. She was so knowledgeable but equally interested in what others could add from our tour group of four. She always listened to what anyone said and allowed discussion particularly as she posed two questions at the start of the tour. I would really recommend Annabel as a tour guide and this as a tour.

This novel tour was one of the highlights of my recent visit to Edinburgh. A native of the city, Annabel certainly knows her stuff. She is very knowledgeable about Edinburgh's history and delivers intriguingly delightful stories about the various "daring" women who formed an integral, but often untold part of the city's history. The tour is certainly educational but also fun providing an opportunity to meet like minded women travellers. Thumbs up on this "in a class of its own" tour ... I would certainly join again and highly recommend it to all.
