  • It is recommended to book transport to the departure point in advance. Please also allow extra time to get to the departure point for check-in. We advise you arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure to allow time to check-in for the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the bus or refund for any late arrivals.
  • Return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Please ensure you allocate sufficient time for any onward travel plans, allowing at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.
  • This tour may run in conjunction with our sister company, Highland Explorer Tours.
  • Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them to board and disembark.
  • Minimum age to travel is 5.
  • Midhope Castle is closed for the season from December 2024 to 1st of March 2025 and will be substituted with Linlithgow Palace
  • There are days when a castle may be closed for filming or other reasons. The tour will then include Linlithgow Palace in its place as an exterior visit.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

This tour was great! Euan was a great guide and made excellent recommendations. The audio guide around Doune castle with Sam's voice and behind the filming tidbits is not to be missed

I had an amazing time on the Outlander Tour. The bus was clean and comfortable, fab music and Connor our guide was great! Very knowledgeable about Scottish History and the TV Show/ Filming locations. 10/10 Plenty of laughs, and of course visiting the amazing places on the tour. Would highly recommend ☺️

I had a lovely time! I’m a huge Outlander fan and absolutely loved this tour. Keep in mind: LOTS of stairs. Since there are two castles, there are a lot of stairs within that can be difficult to climb, so wear comfortable shoes. Connor was an amazing guide. He was knowledgeable, funny, and overall so great. He gave great recommendations for both during the tour and the rest of our trip.
