Excellent tour of the Egyptian Museum, Old Cairo and the Citadel with Fawzy. He gave just the right amount of info and assisted with shopping opportunities in the Khan El Khalili.

remember this during the Ramadan season
day 1
our guide Ahmed was very knowledgably and very likeable person.
he know the history of the places we were taken to
very enjoyable day.
Day 2
tour started late and we waited in the lobby hour and a half
eventually we were met by Kadeer at the citadel
Kadeer was a Italian/Spanish guide so english was not a strong point for him (not his fault)
spent a lot of time at the citadel where he explained about Islam
then moved to Cairo museum but because of Ramadan, the museum closed early and i don't think i spent enough time at the museum
however, he did know the main exhibits and explained the history.
lunch provided on day 1 was good, day 2 restaurant were closed due to Ramadan we had lunch at fast food restaurant.
i would make sure my visit was not during the Ramadan but did enjoy the tours.
thanks to Ahmed.
very very tired due to all the walking and climbing the pyramid etc (not young)
