Pink and grey granite thrusts upward through the Nubian sandstone, forming mountains, cliffs and jagged outcrops. The Nile runs clear and cold here, and endless waves of golden sand swirl against its banks.

    If you do this type of tour ensure you check out the boat and food quality before paying. We were on beau rivage boat and whilst we had a room where you could open windows it was all downhill from there. Pool crowded and green, everything you need on the boat comes at an extra cost (including drinking water). The food is anything but middle eastern and repetitive. Best meal is the breaks]fast omelette .

    A pesar de lo casi 40 grados diarios, nunca pensé sorprenderme y quedar tan admirada como en este viaje. Lo hicimos en el típico viaje organizado de 4 días de crucero y 3 en El Cairo. Fascinante experiencia. Mis hijos encantados y fuimos a vivir una aventura ya que por motivos de estudio y trabajo no lo preparamos -estudiamos-con antelación. El crucero con guía super bien para llegar a todos los destinos. Solo alegaría que el barco necesita un poquito -no mucho-mantenimiento o detalle en los acabados , pero el servicio y el personal a bordo excelente. La comida bien, salvo que poco variada...mucho pollo y arroz. Lo que se conoce y se ve INOLVIDABLE. IMPOSIBLE no hacer la excursión al poblado nubio y el baño en el rio Nilo en las afueras donde corre limpio y fresco. El Cairo hermoso en el hotel Gran Nilo Tower, y la ciudad para no cerrar los ojos, gigante y parece no dormir. Ojalá pudieras volver. SORPRESA con todas las letras. Ahhh noviembre es temproada alta y los precios se triplican.
