  • Ain Khudra, Nuweiba, Egypt
    Ain Kudra is an oasis located in the Sinai Peninsula and was part of the St. Catherine Monestary and has been given to the local Bedouin tribe, existing of 12 families. They use the water of the spring for their livelihood. During this trip we will have lunch with one of the families.

  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

I really wanted to go to the deserty, but they said in the summer it was not such a good idea. Luckily! Some "cool" days in August, so we went anyway. And it was amaaaazing. Yes, it was hot, but hey, thats one of the features of a desert, innit? The canyons are an extraordinary enviroment to take some stunning pictures. The lunch in the little bedouin village was very tasty and it was great to have the opportunity to meet the locals.

Very nice day ith some amazing canyons. I expected more of a climb but everything was very easy. We had a tasteful lunch with a bedouin family and our guide showed us lots of interesting stuff

The start was a bit messy as we had to wait for the car, but we had a wonderful time. It is so great driving into the desert and just walking about. So many photo opportunities, just overwhelming! As said, I will come back, and then I want to do the multiple day trip they offer.... It must be amazing to sleep in the desert, but bit too cold for me now ;=)
