We were picked up at the hotel by the shuttle bus and taken to the airport. Already in advance I was contacted via WhatsApp to clarify questions and concerns. In Cairo we were welcomed by our guide and the tour began. Here I would like to explicitly mention again how great and professional the Sevice were both from the agency via WhatsApp and from our tour guide. Our tour guide deserved all the stars in the world, he always paid attention to all his "habbibis" in the group and also put his full weight into photographic engineering.
With charm, insider knowledge and heart he led us through the tour and in my opinion he showed much more commitment than the "standard mandatory program".
Unfortunately I can't remember his name, he told my son his name was "expert" and our tour group he called "Adrian" (after my son's name).
Whoever gets him as a tour guide has an experienced professional at his side ????.
The tour as such I found exhausting with child. It was extremely hot (normal in August) and the many stops like the papyrus shop and the perfume shop were added stress. On the other hand, you are offered much extra to get to know even more of the culture and of course to shop. The pyramids as well as the camel ride (€9 extra per person) and the sphinx were breathtaking. The Egyptian Museum was also fabulous. Here our expert has also shown and explained great things again.
Afterwards there was a Nile trip which you could book for 10€ extra. Again, the setting was fantastically beautiful and gave the day a nice conclusion. We admired what a professional photo shoot our guide made possible with our mobile phones.
Unfortunately, our flight home to Hurghada was delayed, but the Booking Egypt team couldn't help it. Again, the reaction was superb and the driver was engaged for the return transport.
In addition, I would like to mention that our small tour group was extremely pleasant, it was very harmonious and we got to know great people.
The only criticism was the included lunch at the restaurant in Cairo. The view showed the pyramids directly during lunch, but unfortunately I got a dry stomach hours later and shortly afterwards the so-called "curse of Pharaoh" hit me in full hardness. Too bad, because I lost the entire following day of vacation because I was sick in the hotel room all day.
However, neither our guide nor the organizer can help it here. I probably just had personal bad luck.
