2 days cairo and giza attractions plus Gem, private tour

As a mom traveling with 2 daughters safety was my first concern. Ibo listened to what mattered the most to my family and made sure it was taken care of. Ibo will great you with his big infectious smile and when he says everything will be handled - he means everything! His in-depth knowledge of Ancient Egyptian is exceptional- my girls had many questions and he relayed information in a fun, relevant way not a boring lecture style.

My sister and I visited Egypt in September and Ibrahim helped to exceed our expectations. He was on time, friendly, very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions with great patience and humor. When I was scared on the camel at the pyramids he patiently calmed me down and then walked beside us, documenting the ‘scary’ camel ride for us! I had no idea what to expect, but Ibrahim put us at ease from the start; this was my sister’s first time in this part of the world and I am not sure we could have maneuvered the crazy city of Cairo without Ibrahim’s expertise. We saw everything we wanted to see and more! He took us to great places for lunch, but the highlight was the famous kashari bowl at Abou Tarek! Lastly, Ibrahim was very engaging and took amazing pictures to help us capture our adventure. After Egypt, we went to Jordan and we kept telling our guide there about what a great photographer Ibrahim was- I think he was a little jealous, haha. Ibrahim helped us create so many memories and I will cherish the pictures and the memories for years to come- thank you Ibrahim!!

WHAT'S INCLUDED: Ibrahim handled EVERYTHING: in-country flights, hotels, meals, activities, transfers, entry fees, and even practical details like tipping etiquette (guides had small bills for us when needed). This meant we never worried about logistics, safety, food, or anything - we just enjoyed Egypt. SAFETY & COMFORT: We felt completely safe throughout the trip. Clean, modern vehicles with capable drivers (Egyptian traffic laws - or lack there of - is really something to behold. And not something I personally wanted to deal with.), top-notch accommodations, and constant care from our guides. We were never left wanting for anything. OUR INCREDIBLE GUIDES: Ibrahim personally guided us in Cairo and the Western Desert. Azza and Amir were our Luxor guides. All are certified Egyptologists degrees in ancient Egypt, and their knowledge was absolutely incredible. Communication was excellent - clear English, engaging explanations, and they seamlessly wove ancient history with modern Egyptian culture. CAIRO HIGHLIGHTS - A BUSTLING CITY WITH SO MUCH TO SEE: - Hotel with pyramid views from our window! - Grand Egyptian Museum tour with Ibrahim - would've been overwhelming without his expert guidance - Sakkara (Saqqara?) and the Step Pyramid - absolutely amazing engineering - The Citadel and Mohamed Ali Mosque - Riding camels to a beautiful pyramids view. Super touristy? YES. Worth it? Totally! WESTERN DESERT - MAGICAL: The contrast between Cairo's intensity and the desert's tranquility was perfect. The Black Desert, Crystal Mountains, and White Desert are all distinct and breathtaking. Professional drivers in incredibly capable Land Cruiser 4x4s navigated the challenging terrain expertly. Desert camping was comfortable with excellent food and care. LUXOR - SO MUCH HISTORY!: In-country flights were seamless. Valley of the Kings was interesting but hot and crowded. The REAL stars were Luxor and Karnak temples - the scale and grandeur completely blew us away. Hot air balloon ride at sunrise: Yes, it's early. YES, IT'S WORTH IT. Absolutely magical and a must-do! Also enjoyed a felluca sailboat ride on the Nile. HURGHADA: Perfect way to wind down. Beautiful beach accommodations arranged by Ibrahim, including all-inclusive package and very late checkout so we could enjoy our final day before the long flight home to the USA. FINAL THOUGHTS: Ibrahim's passion for Egypt, its history, and culture is infectious. His genuine care for his clients shines through in every detail. Though my wife and I are pretty well traveled, travel to Egypt seemed a bit intimidating, but with Egypt Tours Planner it was remarkably easy, accessible, and affordable. We learned so much, felt immersed in Egyptian culture (ancient and modern), and always felt comfortable and safe. Would we recommend Egypt Tours Planner? ABSOLUTELY, without hesitation!
