5 days 4 nights private tour in Cairo and Alexandria

I have to say that this tour and the guide were way beyond expectations. I do not know how we could have navigated the arrivals security and checkpoints, nor the trip into Cairo to the hotel without our excellent guide and driver. Hotel was great (Kaminski Nile) and guide and driver navigated us through many checkpoints, etc. with professionalism and ease. Guide (Mamdou) was extremely knowledgeable and more than willing to make adjustments along the way, adding some additional stops and skipping others at our request. Van was extremely clean, cool and comfortable and bottled water was available all the way. Great trip!

We originally booked our tour for travel in April, and Your Egypt Tours (and especially Mona) were extremely accommodating, understanding, and helpful in rearranging our travel plans and dates due to the pandemic. We were very pleasantly surprised by the ease of traveling during this time, especially through the Cairo airport and with the help of our airport representative Ahmed in September. We felt safe the entire trip, with all accommodations and tourist sites having high safety and sanitation procedures. Additionally, we saw very few other tourists at the tourist sites, which was quite a unique experience to have the Giza pyramids and the museums virtually to ourselves! Our egyptologist, Ibrahim, far exceeded all expectations, providing an amazing overview of Egyptian history, taking the time to explain each site and artifact, patiently answering all our questions, taking us to "local" places to try authentic Egyptian food, and overall just providing a very well rounded, educational, and exciting tour! Ibrahim also spent much time arranging us to receive appropriate COVID-19 tests prior to departure and ensured we received our results within time, which was greatly appreciated. Additionally, we felt incredibly safe having our own driver, Ash, and private security to accompany us the entire trip. We could not have asked for a better trip or a better time to visit Cairo and Alexandria and highly recommend other travelers to consider traveling during this time for a safe and uniquely private experience!

My husband and I took a private tour of Cairo and Alexandria via YET. It was a pleasure to interact with Miss Mona Hamdy. She was very prompt with her responses and flexible to tailor a tour according to our preferences and timings. At the Cairo Airport, thanks to Mr Mohammed Ali both arrival and departure formalities were super smooth. For the first 1.5 days we had Mr. Bakr as our guide. He is highly knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about Egyptian history. Unfortunately when he had to leave for personal emergency, Mr Hosni stepped in for half a day. Due to this change of circumstances, as a compensation on our last day of the tour, we got Mr Mamdouh, one of the best Egyptologists as our guide. It was truly a memorable experience to explore Alexandria with him. We are used to planning our own trips wherever we go; a guided tour was a change of flavor but I am glad we booked our Egypt trip via YET. The YET team made our short vacation glitch-free.
