Gadali was one of our best tour guides during our trip to Egypt. Our tour guide was inclusive with our Nile river cruise package. Gadali was assigned to us and he was the really good. He was a very nice person. In addition to being a great tour guide, Gadali was able to give great explanations for all the wonderful temples and hieroglyphics and stories of Egypt. He kept it interesting combining historical context and helping us decipher the messages from ancient Egyptians. Gadali was very flexible with what we wanted to see by providing breaks for photos, time to wander around and answering all of our questions. He is also an amazing photographer!! and captured very nice moments for us on camera. Thanks Gadali for making this trip so memorable. 10/10 Would recommend again!!!

My wife, teenaged daughter, and I really enjoyed this cruise! Excellent guides, good food, and outstanding service throughout!
We were picked up at the Luxor airport at 6:30am and allowed an early check-in (long before the usual time of 12pm). Alaeddine, our coordinator from the travel agency, immediately introduced us to the dining room personnel and arranged to get us breakfast, after which we received excellent service from the capable restaurant crew led by Salah. For the entire cruise, the food was surprisingly good, especially on Egyptian dinner night, which was better than anything else we had in Egypt.
Our ship captain, Mr. Tayseer, was welcoming and very accommodating, especially when we asked to change rooms in the middle of the cruise because we were too close to the loud engines at the back of the ship.
Ibrahim was our guide for most tours, and he was warm and caring, had passion in his eyes, and made us feel like family! With his smile and his entertaining stories, he always managed to put us in a good mood, which meant a lot to us.
On our last day, we went from Aswan to Abu Simbel, but because of lack of sleep (4am departure) and because the trip takes 3 hour each way, my wife got car sick. We contacted Ibrahim (who was not our guide for this last trip) to let him know we would return to the ship late. Once again he went out of his way to help us, even coming back from the train station (he was on his way back to Luxor) to make sure we were ok. When we made it back to the ship hours after our scheduled return, captain Tayseer had arranged a room for us to rest. We ended up staying until 4pm, long after the usual check-out time of 8am.
Note that tickets for the temples and tombs are not included in the price of the cruise, and must be purchased each day in Egyptian pounds. But Alaeddine was always there to change money for us at the current exchange rate. The Egyptian pound has lost half its value in one year, so all these wonderful sites are now really cheap to visit. And while the cost of optional trips (hot-air balloon, Abu Simbel, etc.) is negotiable (talk to Alaeddine), remember to be generous with tips, as all the personnel works for meager salaries that would make Westerners blush (minimum wage as of Jan. 2023 is about 100 USD/month, and average monthly salary less than 600 USD).
All in all, a memorable cruise with great service from an excellent crew!
We had the most memorable time in Egypt. Seeing the awesome sites, the food the atmosphere, the rich ancient history all led by our well versed and knowledgeable new addition to our family. Our brother Karam! What an amazing personality. He was fun and energetic knowledgeable and patient. We are already planning our return trip in March with our family and friends. I hope brother Karam can handle 20 people from NYC and Rome Italy hahahah because we are coming bro!! See you soon Inshallah!!!! The crew on the vessel were also amazing. Mr Rafael, Mostafa, Yusef, Mohammed, the entire crew treated us like Royal family. Special shout outs to Mr Aladdin for organizing it with my amore mio. AWESOME!!!
