Saqqara, Memphis and Giza are the locations in Egypt where the most ancient pyramids still exist. First visit Memphis, the oldest capital of ancient Egypt. Then learn about the development of building the pyramids, starting from the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the causeway of Unas, enter the pyramid of Teti,see the mysterious, beautiful pyramid texts  and the tomb of Kagemni in Saqqara. And lastly, marvel at the Giza Pyramids (Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus), the Valley Temple, and the Sphinx. Lunch is included in a local restaurant.

Live the adventure of riding a camel in the Sahara desert around the pyramids. Explore the Valley Temple and the Sphinx before being transferred back to your hotel.

    Then move on to Saqqara to visit the Step Pyramid of King Zoser (about 2700 B.C.), which is considered an intermediate stage of evolution between the mastaba and the true pyramid. In the area of Saqqara you will also visit the tomb of Kagemni, a nobleman (2200 B.C.)., the causeway of Unas and the pyramid of teti. I had a guided tour with Nour Nagy and Capoo, who were excellent throughout the day. They had vast knowledge of the history to compliment already amazing heritage sites. I’d fully recommend them as tour guides and look forward to another awesome tour with them. Noir is also an amazing photographer, so being a phone with a good camera for her to take awesome pictures.
