Enjoy your Trip to Abu Simbel. we will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan from 4 am to 4h30 am by a modern air-conditioned coach to enjoy a small group tour to Abu Simbel. The two Temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique style, are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to co-operate in order to save these temples from the flood. The Temple of Ramsses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramsses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramssess II.The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramsses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one. Later on, you will be escorted back from Abu Simbel to your hotel in Aswan.

Built by the greatest of the pharaohs, Ramesses II, these huge rock-cut temples marked the southern boundary of the Egyptian Empire with Nubia at the peak of its power during the New Kingdom. They were meant to convey the power of Egypt’s rulers to anyone who laid eyes upon them.

This was a shared bus tour. We had a private Egyptologist doing the tour of Abu Simbel. It was definitely worth getting picked up at 4:15am! Abu Simbel is magnificent. The guide cannot go into the temples with you so his talks are prior to our entering the temple.

Mina Wasfy a organisé pour nous 3 excursions lors de notre séjour en Egype : la visite des pyramides (Gizeh et Saqqara), la visite d'Abu Simbel trajet A/R d'Assouan en véhicule privé, ainsi qu'un un magnifique voyage tout inclus en felouque privé de 2 nuits d'Assouan à Kom Ombo (avec visite du temple + extension visite du temple d'Edfou et transfert à Louxor). Organisation parfaite, guides et felouquier très compétents, sympathiques et flexibles, repas excellents, tout était de qualité à un prix très raisonnable.
