Honi, our driver, arrived at 4.00 in the morning to bring us to Abu Simbel. The one-way trip takes 3,5 hoours. Honi was very friendly and drove us safely to Abu Simble. Because we started early, we slept and relaxed in the car. Along the way, we stopped at a desert café for a break. We had some coffee and tea and used the restroom. At Abu Simbel Honi introduced us to a local guide. He gave us a lot of information about the historical site. Although the guide could not accompany us to the tombs, he gave us information to explore by ourselves. The tombes are incredible beautiful! We spend about 2 hours at Abu Simble. Honi drove us back safely.

Driver Honi picked us up at 4.00 AM to go to Abu Simbel. He is very friendly and we had a nice chat. Then we had some time to sleep in the car, because it is a long ride (3,5 hr each way). We stopped at a cafeteria in the desert to have some tea and coffee and use the bathroom. At Abu Simbel, he introduced us to the local guide. He explained a lot about Abu Simbel and what to see. Guides can't enter the tombs, so we went on our own. It was incredible to see. We spend about 2 hours at Abu Simblel before going back to Aswan.
