Go to Abu Simbel to see the great temple of Ramses II and the temple of Queen Nefertari, both discovered in 1813 when they were almost entirely covered with sand. Find out how they were displaced in 1960 with the help of the Egyptian government and UNESCO to avoid rising waters of the Nile. See the mural depicting the famous victory of Ramses II at the Battle of Qadesh and admire the small temple he built for his favorite wife, Queen Nefertari. Marvel at the rock sanctuary and its incredible bas-reliefs before returning to Aswan to be dropped

We had an amazing trip to Abu Simbel starting from Aswan early in the morning. We were picked up at established hour from Cruise ship were we were staying. The guide was very funny, nice and friendly, he made us laugh all the way and even if the journey was long the time passed quickly. He gave us a lot of interesting information about the temples we visited, Egyptian history and culture. Abu Simbel is a special place, very quiet and relaxing, different from all other places we visited in Egypt before. The temples are impressive and definitely a must see if you are visiting Egypt. We have also stoped at a nice coffee shop on the way. It was a very good experience over all. I will buy other trips also in the future with these guys as they are trustworthy and I felt safe and respected.

Our tour to Abu Simbel was fantastic. Our tour guide, Islam, met us at our ship in Aswan, along with a very clean, comfortable van and two drivers. When I reserved the tour only two of us were going, but the tour provider was fine with us increasing to four people at short notice. The ride itself was quite long, but interesting to see the desert. When we arrived at the temple Islam gave us a really good overview before we went in as guides are not allowed in the temple itself. On our way back to Aswan we made a quick pit stop and arrived in good time. I was very pleased with the arrangements and felt the cost of the tour was very fair. I’ll remember Viator and won’t hesitate to book through them in the future. --

The service provided was excellent, both drivers were very friendly with great knowledge of where they was going. Both drivers were always on time and treated us incredibly. I highly recommend this tour company. I would certainly go with this company again as the went above and beyond the expecations i asked for
