If you have some time during your layover at Cairo Airport, this tour is the right choice. Your guide will pick you up from the airport and ensure you will be back in time to catch your connecting flight. You will start your layover tour with the most important site. On this Giza plateau, you can live in the history of the Cheops, Chephren, and Mycereinus pyramids. Then you will enjoy a camel ride in the Sahara desert around the Pyramids; later, you will have lunch at a good quality restaurant. After that, you will proceed to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which records the number of ancient Egyptian artifacts in the world. Then you will move to live in the oriental atmosphere of the Bazaar of Khan el Khalili, which is believed to be the oldest market in Cairo as it is more than 1,000 years old. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to Cairo Airport to catch your flight.

This was a perfect way to spend a few hours in Cairo. Michael was extremely knowledgeable and brilliant at fitting in all the highlights to our day. Lunch, overlooking the pyramids, was delicious; camel rides with Ali a lot of fun and Michael’s knowledge in the museum meant we saw all we wanted to. Highly recommend this tour and Michael was a great guide. Thank you.

We were met at the airport by Nour our guide, which instantly made us feel welcome and at ease. We started off in the khan khalili market which was relatively quiet, we didn’t want to buy anything so Nour walked us past a few old buildings and mosques in the old city and gave us some history. We then went on to the museum, it was HUGE! We only spent a couple of hours there where Nour showed us the most important/interesting pieces and then we were given time to explore on our own. We then went for lunch in one of the hotels not far from the pyramids! Food was delicious and filling. You need to pay for your drinks but we knew this and wasn't an issue. We then headed for the pyramids themselves where we got to ride a camel (amazing experience!) and got some great photos from the panoramic point. We quickly went to the sphinx before leaving but we were a little tight on time. Highlights were the museum and pyramids! Had we had enough time Nour had planned to take us to papyrus and oil shops but we weren’t really bothered about this and got to see what we wanted!! Highly recommend Nour as a guide - friendly, knowledgeable and fun!

Our guide Ahmed was very friendly , knowledgeable and competent, our driver also was excellent. The tour was well paced and flexible to meet our needs with spare time to explore along with expert advice. Full marks .
