My family and I (2 adults, 2 kids) visited Jungle Aqua Park-Hurghada in April this year (2019) and the first thing that strikes you is just how beautiful the resort is and how friendly the staff are. There is something for everyone regarding food with several different restaurants, a pizza bar, various barbecues etc. You can get as many drinks as you like day or night. The facilities are excellent and the resort is spotlessly clean and very well maintained and the staff can’t do enough for you. The ONLY thing that let it down for us was the fact that we had to PAY extra for a lot of things on the resort that we would normally expect to be included in an “all inclusive” resort! Surely the clue is in the name is it not? The water park was, quite rightly, included and was good fun and there are LOADS of beautiful pools to choose from. The room was excellent and the air con was a dream! The problem we found is that you have to pay for several things we didn’t expect. If you want to play pool or table tennis it’s £3 for 30 minutes! The zorb balls on the pool £5 per child for about 5 minutes! The ‘9D’ ride cost us around £15 and wasn’t great!! Then it cost £5 for the kids to have some candy floss from a vendor on the resort? £10 for the kids to have a go on the Segways. There are little cars that we seen little ones buzzing about in and they looked to be having fun but, again, they had to pay to hire these! There are vendors selling little bracelets that you can buy in the U.K. for a couple of pounds and the guy wanted £30 for 4 (we didn’t buy them!!) There are virtual reality games but again, you need to pay to go on these! It’s not, individually, huge sums of cash I know but the kids want to go on these attractions so of course you let them but it all adds up, over 2 weeks you’ve spent a couple of hundred pounds more than you had planned! When we went to the First Choice Holiday Village in Majorca last year it was near impossible to spend money on the resort, apart from bits and pieces from the shop which you expect, other than that EVERYTHING was included in the “All Inclusive” package! I had massages at Jungle Aqua Park which were great and I would, of course, expect to pay extra for these but certainly not for some of the above, on an “ALL INCLUSIVE” resort?? The resort, food and staff are fantastic but It’s more like full board with extra drinks rather than all inclusive in my honest opinion and really put a bit of a dampener on an otherwise brilliant holiday just because we had to pay for little things that would CERTAINLY be included at a First Choice Holiday Village. Maybe all the resorts are the same in Egypt, I really don’t know. I’d love to go back as we LOVED Egypt and we really enjoyed Jungle Aqua Park but we were disappointed at the unexpected extra costs! I did send an email to Jungle Aqua Park about these issues BEFORE adding this honest review to give them an opportunity to comment but they didn’t reply to me!
