The granite quarries which supplied the ancient Egyptians with most of the hard stone used in pyramids and temples. The quarries still hold the Unfinished Obelisk, possibly intended as a companion to the Lateran Obelisk, originally at Karnak but now in Rome. I can’t say enough good things Isaac and Aswan Tour. Isaac was very professional, precise and efficient in organizing private tours. Everything ran super smoothly, Isaac and his team was always available, very nice, discreet and flexible! We visited Aswan Temples, Abu Simbel, Edfu and Qom Ombo. Our guide was a brilliant Egyptologist full of fascinating stories and facts & fully able to answer all our questions. Isaac and the tour guide did everything to make sure our tour is customized to our own schedule. The overall experience was FANTASTIC! 100% RECOMMEND!!
