    At the early morning you will be picked up by Love Egypt Tours representative from your hotel in Luxor, then transferred to Luxor International Airport for flight to Cairo

    Arrive to Cairo where you will be met and transferred to discover The Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, which dates from the time of Chephren; the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren.

It was amazing to see the Valley of the Kings and to feel the history of the place. Luxor is hotter than Cairo so choose your date carefully as there is little shelter and the tombs can be humid. The airport is across the river and the bridge is south of the city making it about a 30 minute trip to the Valley. There are other attractions in the area such as the Valley of the Queens but its not possible to see everything in a day so follow your guides advice & timetable. The lunch may be nice by local standards but is not up to international criteria so ask about paying for an upgrade if you would like to dine well. Bring lots of E£5 notes for tips.

George was fantastic from meeting us at the airport, to the whole day trip in cairo to dropping at the airport again. He was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. He listened as we asked questions and he was so interesting which made it far more enjoyable. Highly recommend him for a day to trip to cairo. Second trip booked for our travels to egypt and would highly recommend Love egypt tours.
