Drive to Kom Ombo which is an unusual double temple in the town of Kom Ombo in Aswan , It was constructed during the Ptolemaic dynasty ,Some additions to it were later made during the Roman Period ,The building is unique because its double design meant that there were courts , halls , sanctuaries and rooms duplicated for two sets of gods . The southern half of the temple was dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek the god of fertility and creator of the world with Hathor and Khonsu , The northern part of the temple was dedicated to the falcon god Horus . The Temple is atypical because every thing is perfectly symmetrical along the main axis .

The guide had the wrong hotel so had to wait. However Ayman is a very good guide and quite knowledgeable about mythology. In this regard he was excellent in the information about what the reliefs represented. When I asked about the included lunch before Edfu he refused saying there were no good restaurants there and threw me more snacks. When we got back to Luxor at 4:30 he said it was lunch time but I had dinner plans and didn't want to have lunch at 4:30. I enjoyed the sugar cane drink very much. I don't think I would recommend this tour as it said lunch provided but it wasn't. I didn't care, I could pay for my own lunch but didn't appreciate snacks being thrown at me when I asked about lunch. Otherwise the guide had interesting information.
