This is my final tour in Egypt and with Mr Shady as my driver, who's been my driver everyday, I couldn't ask for a better day. He's very patient and tells me to just enjoy. He made this and my other tours a very enjoyable, relaxing and stress free experience. I'll never forget my adventure to Egypt thanks to Mr Shady as my driver and also to Mr Ehab who was my guide for the other tours.

Great trip, and our guide Rafat was attentive, understanding, and generally excellent, highly recommended.
But make sure you know what exactly it involves, particularly in winter.
So- you'll be picked up in Cairo, about a 2h drive to a coast resort on the edge of Ain Sokhna. You pick your time for lunch, and otherwise have free time until a roughly 4pm start back to Cairo. The more expensive package covers transport & guide, resort access, towel hire, and lunch.
The resort has a pool and is on a beautiful coast, but- crucially- be aware that neither is heated and swimming is unrealistically cold, at least in January.
If you're coming to swim in winter, it's really not going to happen, short of using a wetsuit, even in the pool.
But if you want to sunbathe/walk by the sea, it's highly recommended.
Realistically, the trip is mostly a platform for an additional 1h trip on the Seascope Submarine- really a glass bottom boat- which harbours nearby. It leaves around 1pm daily.
The asking price is $50 a head & baksheesh, and is well worth it, as the wildlife viewing is incredible. But do be prepared to either budget for this or expect a quiet day.
The resort itself is pretty, if a little tired, and lunch was simple (kebabs, rice, chips, salad, dessert) but good.
