Excellent shows : both Tannour and especially the Belly Dancing ,a rarity in today’s Cairo . The food was pleasant though the shot of Absolut vodka which was served must have been undoubtedly diluted . The cruise itself was very very pleasant and well organized .

This was our introduction to Cairo, a dinner cruise along the Nile. We were met at our hotel by our private guide (Hefni) and transported to the dock. We had a delightful conversation, learning all about Cairo and the region. We were quite impressed by our Guide's knowledge and ease of conversation in English. He was genuinely interested in our comfort understanding the importance of the history of Egypt and the Nile. On a personal note, I am thankful he offered me his sweater jacket - it was a bit chilly out. The cruise was very nice. The food was plenty and the show spectacular (for a small cruise ship). We were entertained with American pop hits, some Egyptian song and dance crew, an alluring belly dancer, and a colorful twirling performance. All-in-all, it was a great evening thanks to Hefni - who ensured we had the best seats in the house (ship) to see the show close-up. The show was quite interactive. Although mine was only a party of two, the performers interacted with their audience, including them in song and dance - several gentlemen discovered they could shake that thang too - matching hips with the belly dancer. It was hilarious, but fun to watch. I highly recommend this event!
