On this tour we experienced both: very touristic and not touristic activities. We started the food tour not being hungry (because the breakfast at our hotel was amazing and a bit late). So first, our guide took us around Egyptian sales points: paintings on papyrus, perfume, cosmetics, spices, clothes, and leather. It was interesting, and we could stay shorter and longer. Somewhere we could talk to people, which was interesting for us. Being between these spots and driving felt super unique for us because we could observe local street life. The food we tried was Egyptian fast&street food, and was very good! We liked it and discovered new tastes which is why we booked tour in the first place.
I give our particular tour 4 stars because it wasn't like a private tour in Europe where if you a guide spends 3 hours with you, you normally talk a lot to them about local life. In this case our guide was more like a driver who didn't really speak English. Which technically is fine, because actually the option selected said 'driver& food', not 'guide&food'.
Overall, the experience was positive and we thank the team and wish them further growth and development ????
