Our driver and guide were professional and we had a fine time with them.
The itinerary included a museum visit, shopping, and a bazaar visit. The museum tour was satisfactory, and the guide was professional. However, the subsequent visits to a papyrus shop, spice shop, and medicine/aromatherapy shop were overly sales-focused. The papyrus demonstration was informative, but the spice and medicine shops felt like high-pressure sales environments. The medicine shop vendor became hostile when no purchase was made. On the guide’s recommendation, a jewelry shop was visited, which was promoted as a quality experience but proved equally negative. As a result, the bazaar visit was skipped, and the tour was ended early, just so we could be done with the increasingly negative experience. This experience fell short of the quality expected from Viator’s third-party partners.
