    At 8.00 am your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel, to start your tour to Sakkara, the City of the dead with the famous step Pyramid of Djosser the world's oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser.

We really enjoyed the tour and, even if the the amount of places to visit was challenging, we managed to see them all. Special thanks to our guide Kamal Elsayed and to our driver Mohamed Fawzy.

Excellent, well organized tour with the very knowledgeable and fun-loving guide / Egyptologist, Kamal Elsayd. I had more than enough time to explore all 4 sites. The highlight for me was going into the Red Piramid at Dahshur to visit the burial chamber. In spite of a late start (due to 2 hour delay of my overnight train) Kamal and his driver we unfazed and I was able to complete the full tour! Kamal is also a great 'jumping pic' photographer - yet another reason to ask for him.

Thank you to my very knowledgeable and fun-loving tour guide/ Egyptologist KAMAL EL SAYD for a most enjoyable and well planned trip to these four sites, all in one day! My most special moment was reaching the third chamber deep inside the bowels of the Red Pyramid at Dahshur. I also had great fun practicing 'jumping shots' in front of the pyramids with guide Kamal. Thank you! 10/10!
