  • Great Sphinx, Giza, Egypt
    Great Sphinx of Giza is the most famous. It was carved directly out of the bedrock during the Fourth Dynasty (c.2613–2494 BC), which also makes it the oldest. Ancient Egyptian sphinxes represented the king with the body of a lion, in a clear demonstration of his power. The evidence points to the Great Sphinx having been carved during the reign of Khafre (Khefren to the ancient Greeks; c.2558–2532 BC)

  • The Temple Egypt Day Tours, Giza, Egypt
    Khafre’s valley temple, located at the east end of the causeway leading from the pyramid base, is beautifully preserved. It was constructed of megalithic blocks sheathed with granite and floors of polished white calcite. Hi all it is as advertised, very friendly and knowledgeable guide Mr Medo strait forward guy and top notch photographer. Definitely recommend for low budget more then your money's worth.
