As they are the most beautiful Egyptian monuments the guide will explain the history of the sites in detail. Giza Pyramids are considered one of the seven world wonders up till now. They are still a witness to the greatness of the ancient Egyptian civilization (Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus) with The Sphinx. Then we will visit the Saqqara monuments, where you can see The Step Pyramid. It is regarded as the oldest stone building and the first idea of a pyramid in ancient Egypt, in the era of the third family, after that we will see the Memphis Museum. Then we will go back to the hotel.

The way our guide Mohamed described the evolution of pyramid construction from Djoser’s Step Pyramid to the smooth ones at Giza was incredible. He had visuals on his tablet that helped us imagine the architecture. This gave the day an educational layer that I really appreciated. We were a group of coworkers on a company retreat, and this tour added a cultural dimension to our trip. I also appreciated that lunch was not just “tourist food,” but a real Egyptian meal. The attention to authenticity was something we all noticed.

What stood out for me was how well-paced the entire tour felt. Giza was amazing, of course, but the quiet in Memphis gave the day a meditative feel. The statue of Ramses was incredibly well preserved. I liked how our guide let us reflect quietly at certain moments. It didn’t feel like we were being rushed from one photo op to another. I booked this directly with Cairo online and had no issues—they followed up with an email and WhatsApp confirmation. It all felt very professional.

Cairo’s private tour offered an experience that was both luxurious and intellectually enriching. The car ride was smooth, the guide Mohamed was articulate and humorous, and lunch felt more like dining with friends than a scheduled meal. We had the chance to ask deep questions about religious practices, burial customs, and Egyptian beliefs about the afterlife. This was more than a sightseeing tour—it was an immersion. Saqqara especially opened my eyes to just how sophisticated early Egyptian culture really was.
