Exploring Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple with Walid was amazing. We started at Karnak, and were impressed by its vastness, with highly-decorated entranceways, walls, and columns everywhere, especially in the Great Hypostyle Hall. The columns were covered in intricate and colorful hieroglyphics. Walid explained the significance of the different sections to us as well as interpreting many of the hieroglyphics. He answered all our questions well and we enjoyed hearing his stories behind the hieroglyphics. Then we continued to Luxor Temple, which is where new pharaohs would be crowned and had a more elegant feel. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and recommend it.
