This tour with the amazing Ahmed Nofal was very informative and intimate. I was able to learn a little about the hieroglyphics and was taught to recognize the names and figures. Definitely a different experience from the other more well known tour spots. My favorite part of the trip was the Habu Temple and seeing the difference in carvings/paintings. If you have some off time, i recommend a visit!

Hatem was a great guide, well-versed in Egyptian history of the new kingdom.
He knew I was interested in history so He took his time to dive me in details about hieroglyphics, hidden symbols and special places in the Rameses III temple and Tombs of the nobleman. Deir-el-medina is worth the visit !
I recommend add to your tour the visit to Seti I temple, It's empty of tourist and worth it if you're interested in ancient history.
On the other hand, There's a visit to an stone-workers shop where you can find and buy handcrafted work. If it's your first time negotiating something in Egypt I suggest ask your guide to help you bargain. as a personal tip always ask first for the price and bargain at least 50%.
Note: Remember the tomb guardians may ask you for tips if they take you pictures. :) , do it ! They are really good photographers :) and I was alone in the funerary chambers so I strongly recommend it since your guide is not allow it to walk with you in.
Enjoy! :)
