Overall, the excursion in Perchèn was actually very nice. Our child had fun, we enjoyed ourselves, and the guide made us feel comfortable and at ease. However, there were a few serious problems. First of all, the horses were kept in very poor condition, which was quite upsetting. Secondly, and this was a big issue, at the end of the excursion the guide insisted that we buy the photos he had taken of us on the horses — for €50. When we told him we weren’t interested in the photos, we offered to leave him a tip instead, but he refused. He wanted the full €50 for the photos or additional money for the horse. When we declined, he got upset and told us we had to pay €25 for our child’s horse, claiming it wasn’t included in the price. That was not true because we had already paid for four people, so of course our child’s horse was included.

The experience was wonderful! Horses are kept very healthy in very good health, happy! Ahmed and Mustahfa were great following me and my husband the whole time. We had never ridden a horse! Thanks to them it was very simple and very safe. We took some wonderful photos and the colors of the desert at sunset made it all very suggestive. We had tea in a real Bedouin tent, surrounded by so much hospitality! I highly recommend this different experience in Sharm because it was really wonderful!!!!! Thank you.
