We will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to enjoy El Fayoum famous sites from Cairo to Fayoum is about 95 km. Today all visits are in Wadi El Ryan, designated as Protected Area in 1989. We will start our tour to Wadi Hitan Protected Area (Valley of the Whales) its included in the Price about 90 km far from Fayoum. Wadi Hitan or Valley of the Whales is located in the Protected Area of Wadi El Rayan and it was designated by UNISCO as a world Heritage Site in recognition of the 40 million year –old whale skeletons found there. On the way to Wadi El Rayan Water Falls, visit Mudawara Mountain. Then into Wadi Al Ryan Water Falls. Wadi El Rayan is a natural depression located in the western desert, Wadi Rayan consists of two lakes connected by Egypt’s only waterfalls, formed in 1970 by an overflow of drainage water from the farmlands in Fayoum. Late Lunch will be served at a good quality restaurant. After that transfer back to Cairo.. During this tour you will have BBQ Lunch at bedouin

    Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to enjoy El Fayoum famous sites. From Cairo to Fayoum is about 95 km.     First we will see the Lake of Birket Qarun (Arabic for Lake of Qarun), is located in the Faiyum Oasis and has an abundant population of fish, notably bulti, of which considerable quantities are sent to Cairo. In ancient times this lake was much larger, and the ancient Greeks and Romans called it Lake Moeris. Afterwards will see Mudawara Mountain and the Magic Lake it's very nice .

We had a fantastic time with Sofy tours During our Trip to Fayoum Oasis . We saw the biggest lake of Fayoum and the nicest Waterfalls of Fayoum . Magic lake was amazing . We had lunch on the lake . Thanks so much for our guide who was kind, entusiastic and very helful. We enjoyed our day tour !!!

Abbiamo fatto un’esperienza molto emozionante, tutto organizzato alla perfezione dall’Italia. Abdalla il nostro autista è una persona veramente a modo, ha esaudito ogni nostra richiesta, il tour è organizzato veramente bene, non ci sono pericoli e le location dove abbiamo dormito sono da favola. Abdalla è anche un ottimo fotografo. Siamo una coppia e consigliamo a tutti di provare questa fantastica esperienza.

I would absolutely recommend choosing this trip to check out the Al Fayoum oasis. The waterfalls are beautiful, the people in the town are really friendly and sandboarding was awesome. But most of all, my guide and driver Mohammed was simply incredible; I had a lot of fun with him. Also, he took some photos and videos for me, which is great seen as the fact that I'm travelling alone. Last but not least, there was a lot of flexibility: if you wanted to check out the Whale Valley as well, that was an option (with an extra charge of course), or you could go on a felucca, etc. Myself, I chose not to do any of these things, as the drive to the oasis was already pretty long (about 2 hours) and I wanted more time to check out the lake.
