Die Erkundung von Kairo bei Nacht war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Die Felukenfahrt bei Sonnenuntergang auf dem Nil bot uns einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Stadt. Und der Ausblick vom Kairo-Turm? Einfach unglaublich! Der lebhafte Basar sprühte vor Energie, und wir beendeten den Abend mit einem köstlichen Koshari, das genau das Richtige war.

This was a wonderful moment. Zenab was an amazing guide and our driver was also luxurious. We were able to climb to the top of the Cairo Tower, sail on a sailboat on the Nile, stroll through the markets and taste some street food. Although you could probably do most of these things on your own, it’s much easier with a guide if you don’t speak the language and don’t have an easy means of transportation. This is a good time to stop and buy some souvenirs at the market too.

I had a smashing time sailing on the River Nile. We popped over to the local market to grab some souvenirs. For dinner, we tucked into the most traditional Egyptian nosh. Our tour guide, Zenab, was an absolute gem—ever so caring and clued up. She made sure we were all looked after, especially at the local market, so we didn’t get ribbed off. She was, without a doubt, the top banana tour guide we had during our stint in Cairo.
