I love the old museum. The tour was well conducted. Then on to the museum of civilisation. This is a beautiful building. And well worth the visit .The mummy museum is interesting to see and well presented. Cairo traffic is boring but eventually moves

So viel historischer Stoff an einem Vormittag kann einen ja durchaus überfordern. Aber unser Guide war hervorragend vorbereitet, und führte uns sicher durch die etwas unübersichtliche Sammlung zu den bemerkenswertesten Stücken der ägyptischen Geschichte. Nebenbei bemerkt spricht Amira hervorragend Deutsch, eine Fähigkeit, die man nur bei wenigen Guides vorfindet. Bei allem Eifer ließ sie uns das Museum aber in unserem eigenen Tempo erkunden und ging jederzeit auf unsere Wünsche ein. Mit dem Neubau in Gizeh soll all das dann noch mal eindrucksvoller werden, wovon wir uns bestimmt selbst noch einmal überzeugen werden. Gerne übrigens wieder mit Amira!

Genial! Se nota que Ahmed está especializado en egiptología y que siente pasión por ello. Nos ha explicado lo mas importante del museo de forma muy amena e interactiva. Nos ha encantado. Muy buen profesional que recomendaremos!
