    Pick up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza and drive to the plateau to see the mighty Pyramids of Giza which once belonged to the Kings of ancient Egypt Khufu, Khafre and Menkaura. Then drive to the the viewing platform to have a picture with the three Pyramids at your background.

    Down the valley you will have a close look at the Sphinx which is thought to be the guardian of the three Pyramids. The sphinx has a head of man and body of a lion that resembles wisdom and strength.

  • Memphis and Sakkara, Saqqara, Egypt
    The tour takes you to Memphis, the old capital of Egypt, which is now marked as an open-air museum exhibiting a remarkable huge state of Ramses II, and many small sphinx statues. The necropolis of Sakkara 15 miles (24 km) southeast of Cairo will be your next stop to see the Step Pyramid of Zoser the first Pyramids thought to be built. After visiting Sakkara, return to Cairo where your tour will finish with hotel drop off.

I had the pleasure of been with Mohamed Gomaa for a guided tour during the hole day here in Egypt. It was an amazing experience !! He was very pontual, told me everything about history and took excellent pictures of me ! LOL I really recommend him !

We booked a private tour to visit Memphis, Saqqara and Giza pyramids with Deluxe Travel Egypt on a very short notice. Impressed with their professionalism and quick communication. Tito, Egyptologist and excellent storyteller, and the driver picked us up at the hotel the next day and off we went. We had an amazing time and learned so much. It is a plus to go in a smallish group because you are more agile to move around. It’s also handier to listen to Tito’s explanations. (Ask him about the Greek weddingcake) Clearly he knows the history and sites inside out and showed us bits and pieces that you would miss as a tourist going solo. He also knows the best spots to take a photo :) We started off in Memphis, then Saqqara and finished with the pyramids and sfinx in Giza. If you have to chose between Giza or Saqqara, opt for the latter. There is much more to see and to learn about. Make sure to buy an extra ticket to go in the tomb. Quite mesmerizing! We were grateful that our driver foresaw cooled water for purchase. Also, bring a scarf to protect you from sun, sand and wind. And some euros or dollars if you want to buy a souvenir.

We got an amazing tour lead by Titto who taught us so much! I especially loved the temple complex at Saqqara, and the majestic Sphinx!
