Private Trip To Luxor from Cairo by Plane

Do not book this tour!!! They do not book airfare until the night before and if there is none at that last minute cancel on you. Then attempt to get you to cancel with viator so you lose your money for cancelling less than 24 hours before. Viator were no help insisting that the tour was going ahead and that they would not refund the payment. So I could not even book a different tour. They lied and tried to blame the internet being down. When really they just didn't book anything. They ruined my trip to Egypt and I will never use viator again as they were no help to resolve the issue. Be warned this company can not be trusted.

First off this tour is an ALL DAY EVENT, from 4am when we were picked up from our hotel until 4am when we were dropped off. The temple of Karnak was very cool but that’s about it in my opinion. My family and I did not appreciate the aggressive sales tactics from the souvenir shop people that our tour guide kept trying to take us to until I said no more, they will try and take you to a Papyrus paper shop where u will be sold overpriced “ancient style” paper and also an alibaster shop. I told my guide after the first shop to not take us to anymore of those shops it’s very annoying. Our tour officially ended at 5pm but don’t worry because your guide will push you pay for the extra tours our guide pushed in order to “kill time” such as a boat cruise of the Nile to banana island, a horse and carriage ride and a sound and light show.. all for an extra fee of course. We personally refused all of these extras and were forced to wait at the airport for 7 hours until our midnight flight but OUTSIDE of the airport because airport security doesn’t allow you inside of the terminal until at least 2 hours before your scheduled flight. Then out midnight flight was delayed 2 hours for reasons still unknown to me, (this is not at fault of the tour company BUT them scheduling us on the very latest flight possible added to the bad experience) all in all I don’t think this tour was worth the $2000 I paid for 5 people, our guide wasn’t knowledgeable but again the agenda to get us to buy extra things was clear. I wouldn’t do this tour again and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Mi focalizzo sul viaggio aereo: Malpensa-Muscat-Manila e ritorno. Da anni utilizzo Oman air per i miei viaggi di affari e vacanza in oriente. Per la prima volta però ho scelto di viaggiare in business. Devo dire che è stata una esperienza meravigliosa; poltrone eccellenti e con massima riservatezza, servizio impeccabile, cortesia delle hostess, ottimo servizio (pasti inclusi), voli in perfetto orario (sia da MXP che da MCT e MNL). Non si può pretendere niente di meglio. Bravi ! Spero di poter ripetere l'esperienza più in là.
